You Don’t Have to Push Through Everything
Sometimes You Need to Go Quiet
And that’s more than OK.
Lately, I’ve felt the need to step back—not dramatically, just quietly. I’ve been giving myself the space to breathe, feel, and listen a little deeper. Letting things settle. Letting myself catch up to where life has taken me.
I’m not sharing this because I need to tell the story. I’m sharing it because maybe you’ve been feeling that same pull. That sense of needing to go inward instead of pushing through. And if you have, I want you to know—you’re not wrong for it. You’re not behind. You’re not broken.
Taking a pause is sacred. It doesn’t mean you’re giving up. It means you’re tuning in.
It also means stepping away from all the noise that tells you how you should be healing, or how fast it should be happening. Not everything you hear on a podcast, YouTube video, or spiritual account is meant for you. And just because someone looks like they’re thriving online doesn’t mean they’re not in their own unraveling behind the scenes.
You don’t have to do it like anyone else. You don’t have to follow a formula or force yourself into someone else's version of “right.” The only authority that really matters in your healing is your own inner voice. So give yourself permission to trust that above all.
And just to be clear, this isn’t about me not being able to show up for others. When I’m in session, I’m fully there. Holding space, offering healing, connected to something much greater than just myself. That’s never changed.
This is just me being honest about how I move through my own healing too. I don’t bypass it. I live it. Which makes the work I do that much deeper, steadier, and real.
So if you’re in that quiet place too—or headed there—give yourself the grace to be there. You're allowed to disappear for a while. You're allowed to rest and not explain it. You're allowed to do it your way.
I’m still here. Walking right with you.
With love,
Vickie
